Uganda to Showcase Innovation and Culture at Expo 2025 in Osaka
Kampala, Uganda. Uganda is set to mark its National Day at the prestigious Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, on October 8, with a grand celebration of Ugandan culture, innovation, and investment opportunities.
The country’s delegation, led by Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja, will present a full-day program that includes cultural performances, trade exhibitions, and high-level bilateral meetings. Uganda’s pavilion, themed “Sustainable Growth Through Innovation,” showcases achievements in agriculture, energy, tourism, and digital transformation.
“This is a golden opportunity to tell the Ugandan story on a global stage,” said John Mulimba, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. “We aim to attract investors, boost tourism, and forge new partnerships.”
Uganda’s participation aligns with Vision 2040 and the National Development Plan III, both of which emphasize industrialization, export-led growth, and international diplomacy.

The Ugandan diaspora in Japan has also been mobilized to support the day’s activities, with youth and cultural ambassadors scheduled to perform traditional dances, music, and poetry.
