U.S. Plans to Deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia to Eswatini

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) says it intends to deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia to Eswatini, citing his expressed “fear” of deportation to Uganda as implausible.

However, Eswatini authorities said they have not been officially informed, raising diplomatic questions.

Immigration rights activists have criticized ICE’s decision, calling it “bizarre and legally questionable.”
