Police Arrest Suspects, Recover Stolen Property and Military Uniform in Arua

Police in Arua have arrested a group of suspects linked to a string of criminal activities along the Arua–Nebbi highway.

According to the police, the suspects were apprehended in a targeted operation and later led security officers to a storage location believed to have been used to hide stolen property.

During the search, officers recovered various stolen items as well as a consignment of military uniforms.

Authorities say investigations are underway to establish the source of the uniforms and whether they were being used to facilitate criminal acts.

Police have urged members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity along major highways in the region as efforts to dismantle criminal networks continue.
