President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) presidential candidate, today launched the party’s manifesto for the 2026–2031 term at Speke Resort Munyonyo. The event marks the formal commencement of his campaign for a seventh term in office.

Key Highlights of the NRM Manifesto
Economic Growth & Job Creation: The manifesto emphasizes the continuation and expansion of the Parish Development Model, aiming to create over one million jobs through industrialization, infrastructure development, and modernization of agriculture.
Infrastructure Development: Plans include the construction of more roads, bridges, and energy projects to enhance connectivity and support economic activities across the country.
Social Services: The manifesto outlines strategies to improve healthcare and education systems, focusing on accessibility and quality.
Peace & Security: A commitment to maintaining law and order, ensuring the safety of citizens, and protecting national sovereignty.
