Makerere University Hosts Uganda Entrepreneurship Congress 2025 – Empowers Youth in Coffee and Innovation

Uganda’s youth entrepreneurship scene is set to shine at the 3rd Uganda Entrepreneurship Congress & 9th Annual Students’ Expo, themed “Brewing Prosperity: Youth Entrepreneurship in Uganda’s Coffee Value Chain.” The event, held at Makerere University on October 16–17, will gather young innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers to explore opportunities in Uganda’s coffee sector.
Key sessions will cover coffee production, processing, marketing, and export opportunities, emphasizing sustainable business practices and technological innovation. The Expo will feature student-led startups, pitching sessions, and networking opportunities designed to foster collaboration and mentorship.
Organizers aim to equip young Ugandans with tools, knowledge, and connections to grow businesses, create jobs, and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
