Lugogo Vocational Training Institute to Host Kampala Metropolitan Skills Fair and Competition on December 6, 2025

Lugogo Vocational Training Institute, in partnership with the European Union, the Government of Belgium, Enabel, and Uganda’s Ministry of Education and Sports, is set to host the Intra-Vocational Skills Fair and Competition for the Kampala Metropolitan Region on December 6, 2025.
The one-day regional event, themed “Choose Vocational Education; Get Skilled and Be Unstoppable,” will bring together trainees, instructors, industry partners, and the public to showcase the growing importance of technical and vocational education in Uganda’s fast-changing labor market.
Organizers say the fair will highlight practical skills, celebrate youth innovation, and create pathways for young people seeking employable, hands-on competencies.
