KCCA Extends Kampala City Festival to 12 October-Full 8-Day Celebration Confirmed

Press Conference Held at Uganda Media Centre Announces Festival Extension and New Plans

The Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has officially extended the Kampala City Festival 2025 to Sunday, 12th October, shifting from its originally scheduled single-day event on 5th October 2025. The announcement was made today during a press briefing held at the Uganda Media Centre, attended by city officials, media, Police and cultural stakeholders.

Set to take place at Kololo Independence Grounds, the festival will now span eight days, offering expanded opportunities for cultural showcases, entertainment, innovation exhibitions, community outreach, and city-wide celebrations under the theme:
