Prominent businessman and outspoken social commentator Frank Gashumba has officially stepped into fatherhood after welcoming a baby with his wife, Patience Mutoni Malaika.

Gashumba broke the news on Monday morning while speaking on Radio 4, expressing immense joy at the milestone.

“I am pleased to announce the arrival of our new child. Both my wife, Malaika, and the baby are in good health,” he revealed.

The couple sealed their union earlier this year in a traditional Gusaba ceremony held on May 15, 2025, at Malaika’s family home in Ssembabule District. Their marriage, which attracted wide attention, is now crowned with the blessing of a child.
