BAMASABA People of Bugisu Eastern Uganda Backs Hon.Nandala for President of Uganda
Clergy and Members of St. Peters Church of Uganda Busamaga, the home church of presidential FDC Flag Bearer for 2026 General Elections Hon. Nathan Nandala Mafabi, gathered for an evening prayer of dedication. The clergy emphasized the importance of unity among the Bamasaaba people, particularly during this time when Bugisu region is under the national scrutiny.
“As Bamasaaba, we are rising up for the first time with a presidential candidate,” the clergy noted. “We should put aside our personal differences and party affiliations to support our own. If we fail to unite behind our candidate, even President Museveni and others will criticize us.”
Hon. Nandala expressed gratitude to the clergy and Christians for showing love and support from home. He echoed the call for unity and love, stressing that these values are crucial for the region’s progress.
The prayer session sought God’s guidance and blessings for Hon. Nandala’ Presidential journey ahead of the upcoming general elections. The congregation prayed for wisdom, love, and unity, reflecting on the significance of their collective support for Hon. Nandala’s presidential bid. This development comes following Mafabi’s announcement as FDC Party Flag earlier this week for 2026 general elections after Party President Amuriat stepped aside in his favour
