AIIB and IsDB Pledge $6B for Africa’s Electrification Drive

The Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) have pledged $6.15 billion to Africa’s Mission 300, an initiative aiming to provide electricity access to 300 million Africans. Funds will support renewable energy generation, transmission infrastructure, and off-grid solutions in rural areas.
