Uganda Poised to Host 2025 EAC Parliament Games
Kampala, Uganda
Football fever across East Africa isn’t just about the big stadiums—it’s also about regional integration, infrastructure and showcasing talent. Uganda is set to play host to the 15th Edition of the East African Community Parliament Games (EAC Inter-Parliamentary Sports Games) from December 5-15, 2025.
The games serve a dual purpose: beyond sports competition, they’re designed to enhance East Africa’s unity and highlight Uganda’s readiness to host major regional events. According to MPs, the Games will “sensitise the nation on the beauty of integration”.
For Ugandan cities and sports fans this means:

Increased investment in local sports facilities and youth talent.
More cross-border sports exchange and visibility.
Opportunities for local clubs and athletes to benefit from the heightened spotlight.
Urban centres like Kampala and Entebbe will see the ripple effects: more games, more spectators, and more local pride. The infrastructure push is clear, and as Uganda prepares, fans should watch for how home-grown talent rises and regional cooperation strengthens.
