Post-Festival Clean-Up Drive Launches Across Kampala

Following the energetic Kampala City Festival at Kololo, KCCA has launched a two-day clean-up campaign targeting litter hotspots left after the festivities. Over 1,000 volunteers, youth groups, and waste collectors are participating under the slogan “Our City, Our Responsibility.”

The operation focuses on Kololo, Wandegeya, and Jinja Road, where festival waste accumulated heavily. Officials say it’s also part of a larger “Keep Kampala Clean” push tied to the city’s sustainability agenda.
