Bobi Wine Accuses Electoral Commission of Bias

National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine) has accused the Electoral Commission (EC) of bias after several of his nomination signatures were rejected. He claims endorsers were intimidated by local security officials, leading to invalidations.

With the September 23 nomination deadline nearing, Kyagulanyi has appealed to supporters in districts including Gulu, Bushenyi, Ntungamo, Soroti, Yumbe, and Arua to urgently re-submit endorsements.

The EC maintains it is enforcing the law, requiring all endorsements to be authentic.
