UNEB Releases 2025 National Examination Timetables
The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has released the 2025 timetables for the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE), and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE). Over 1.4 million candidates are expected to sit for the national exams.

UCE exams start: October 13, 2025, with Geography and Biology
UCE ends: November 7, 2025
PLE briefing: October 31, 2025
PLE exams start: November 3, 2025, with Mathematics and Social Studies
PLE ends: November 4, 2025, with Science and English
UNEB Executive Director Dan Odongo urged schools to display candidate registers and prepare thoroughly. This comes amid lingering concerns over past disruptions and malpractice.
