Makerere University Launches Innovative STEM Learning Center

Makerere University has inaugurated a state-of-the-art STEM Learning Center, designed to boost hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The facility features labs, robotics kits, 3D printers, and interactive classrooms.
Key Objectives:
Enhance practical STEM skills for undergraduates and postgraduates.
Foster innovation and entrepreneurship through research incubators.
Host workshops and competitions to engage high school students in STEM.
University Official Statement:
“Our goal is to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, preparing students to lead in a competitive global economy,” said Prof. Sarah Nabukenya, Director of STEM Programs.
